Photographs and Images
The Eden Valley Museum has more than 3,000 photographs, paintings and drawings in its collection. The majority are historical images from the first half of the 20th century or earlier, with more recent images relating to special events in the Valley or special collections donated to the museum in either print or digital format. Nearly 400 of these images comprise the Alan Dell collection, donated to the museum in 2000.
Through a collaboration with the Kent Photo Archive an ever increasing number of our images are being made available online with special categories such as cricket ball making, hop picking and the tannery being drawn together.
